Ticket, Performance and Website Policies
Thank you for taking the time to read our performance, ticket and website policies. These policies are intended to create a positive experience for you and all of our patrons. There are no refunds. Tickets may be exchanged at our discretion.
If you misplace your tickets for a single play, visit the box office and we will reprint your tickets.
Unauthorized Ticket Sales
Tickets purchased or otherwise obtained from someone other than the Capitol Theatre, Ticketfly or our authorized agents might be lost, stolen or counterfeit and may not be honoured. Tickets may not be resold without permission from the Capitol Theatre.
By attending a performance at the Capitol Theatre you agree to our Terms and Conditions. If you fail to abide by these terms and conditions, we may cancel your tickets and refuse admission without refund.
Late Seating Policy
Patrons who arrive late will be seated at the discretion of Capitol Theatre staff/volunteers. Latecomes will only be admitted at a suitable break in the performance, and may not be seated in their assigned seats until intermission. Until they are seated, latecomers may watch productions on the monitor located in the lobby. There are no refunds for latecomers.
Parents may seat young children in their lap, but children must have assigned seats beside their parents. A limited number of child booster seats are available and are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
The following items are restricted, may not be brought into the theatre: alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, weapons of any kind, bottles, cans, food products purchased outside the theatre and all forms of audio/video/image recording or transmitting devices. You consent to reasonable examination your person or belongings to ensure compliance with these terms.
You are not permitted to Record or transmit Capitol Theatre performances.
Program Subject to Change
Due to the nature of live performance, artists and programs may change at any time. We cannot promise you will be satisfied with the performance, nor that it will be free of technical difficulties.
Admission may be refused at any time upon our refunding the printed purchase price, including in the event of cancellation of the performance.
The posted running times of our performances are estimates, and these times can vary from one performance to the next.
During your visit, you or members of your party may be filmed, videotaped, and/or photographed by a theatre employee, volunteer, contract photographer or the media. Your attendance at Capitol Theatre events serves as permission for the use of your image, or the image of your family or other party members, by the Capitol Theatre.
We may not post advisories about subject matter, as sensitivities vary from person to person. If you have any questions about content, age-appropriateness or stage effects (such as strobe lights or theatrical fog) that might have a bearing on your comfort, please contact the box office at 905-885-1071.
