Our week-long celebration kicks off with a family-friendly event at the Port Hope Public Library, in collaboration with Furby House Books, SONG, and Critical Mass, celebrating our production of A Year with Frog & Toad. Join us for an evening with live readings by members of the cast, crafts for folks of all ages–and cookies, cookies, cookies!

What to Expect

Storytime with Frog & Toad!

Join the stars of our upcoming production, Joel Cumber (Little Shop of Horrors) and Haneul Yi (The Ballad of Stompin’ Tom), as they share the original storybooks that inspired this hilarious family musical. It’s classic carpet time with a theatrical twist!

Sing a Song with SONG

Join Lucas Marchand, Artistic Director of SONG, to learn one of the songs featured in the show–Cookies Cookies Cookies. And who knows, there might even be a special treat for those who sing the song!

Creativity with Critical Mass

Working with our friends at Critical Mass, artists of any age can get their hands dirty as they create their own versions of frog, toad, and the other animals of the swamp. This is an opportunity for the young and young-at-heart to get creative!

Send a Letter to Frog & Toad

Snail works hard to deliver mail to all of the animals in the forest, even though his delivery time isn’t always the fastest. At this station, you can write your own letter to Frog and Toad and put it in the mailbox for snail mail!

Balloon Bonanza

You can don a custom made balloon and show off your love of all the friends of the forest! Join Patron Services Coordinator Pattie McClean as she crafts balloon frogs for folks of all ages.
