Sunday lunchtime film talk
A Conversation with Canadian Woman in Film, Anne Tait
Join us for a conversation, over lunch, with Anne Tait, a true Canadian woman in film: producer, screenwriter, novelist, playwright, broadcaster and casting director. She has spent a lifetime working in Canadian film and television, beginning as assistant director of CBC’s Howdy Doody show, later as casting director for the Stratford Festival, Mirvish Productions and an array of Canadian and US movies and TV shows, and recently as producer of the Canada-China co-production Iron Road, a film whose cast included Sam Neill and Peter O’Toole. She has also hosted a TV series and a CBC radio show, and had her plays produced on seven Irish and Canadian stages and on CBC Radio.
Bring your own brown bag lunch, or order a catered box lunch in advance or at the Festival. Purchase this ticket only if you do not have a Festival Pass.
