CAPITOL THEATRE 2024
COME TOGETHER
In 2024, we’re celebrating community at the Capitol. Each of our offerings onstage celebrate that wonderful spark that can happen when people come together to make something better. And that exact spark is what we love about making theatre—creating opportunities for the folks in our community (and beyond) to have a shared artistic experience.
We hope that you’ll see that the diversity of programming has grown again for 2024; we are listening carefully to the needs of our community and responding as best we can. You’ll also see growth based on previous successes, including the expansion of our Billboard in Concert series, more offerings in the intimate Sculthorpe Theatre, more programming for children and families, and three world premieres! And all of it will be created right here in Port Hope, specifically for audiences at the Capitol.
We’d love your help in introducing your friends and neighbours to the Capitol by sharing what we have going on with them. After all, it’s more fun to experience the work on stage with loved ones around you. Grab dinner at one of the many restaurants around town and make a night of it!
No matter who you are, we’ve got a reason for you to gather.
