Join us as we connect artists, businesses, and our community on a new virtual hub — Capitol Connects.
Capitol Connects celebrates our creative community. Pre-recorded segments will include interviews, performances, readings, and interactive workshops. Each segment will feature inspiring videos in a way that is creative and personal. Viewers will be invited to assist the Capitol Theatre’s journey to artistic re-emergence through a donation while we continue to strive to support the community and businesses struggling with the challenges we are all currently facing.
THE CAPITOL PROJECT — In this episode of Capitol Connects we unveil the much buzzed-about art piece by local salvage artist Lee Higginson. Join us as we learn how Lee developed her idea, created it, and now exhibits it.
GRADUATION — In this episode of Capitol Connects we join with others to honour and salute our graduates. We also celebrate the inspiration that our graduates offer us as individuals and as a community.
OPENING NIGHT — In this episode of Capitol Connects we recall the excitement, creativity, and the nerves that can inform opening nights. Because things are quieter around the theatre it is the perfect time to take a peek backstage and introduce viewers to the opportunity to get Your Name in Lights.
CHARCUTERIE WORKSHOP — The Capitol invites you to connect with us in an exciting interactive way by participating in a virtual charcuterie class with our neighbours at Food Inspired.
