Julieta (2016)

Julieta is about to leave Madrid definitely when a chance encounter with Bea, the childhood friend of her estranged daughter Antía, pushes her to change her plans. Julieta begins to feed the hope of a reunion with her daughter whom she has not seen in years. She decides to write to Anita, telling her everything she has kept secret during her life. Julieta is a film about destiny, guilt, the struggle of a mother to survive uncertainty, and that unfathomable mystery that drives us to abandon the beings we love by erasing them from our lives as if they had never existed.
