Art Exhibits On Display

On Display and For Sale in the Capitol Theatre Lobby and available for viewing during all events.

In 2012, the artists and supporters at Art de Triomphe developed an Outreach Program designed to bring artistic workshops in Cobourg and Port Hope. The purpose is to encourage others whose lives have been diminished by a disability, to find renewed meaning through creative expression.

Under the direction of Barb Winfield in Port Hope and Christine Bayer in Cobourg, Outreach, sessions are offered twice a month, The art work that is being presented at the Capitol Theatre was completed by Outreach “artists” and volunteers, using the theme “Thinking about France”.  Art de Triomphe is a member driven, not-for-profit group that was formed early in 2008 to provide an avenue for Northumberland artists living with adversity, building awareness that persons with disabilities can, and do, make a significant contribution to the cultural fabric of our communities.
